Events

A short, safe, repeatable flow: a success for the active person, a screen for those waiting, a supervisor in the swing area.

Layout

Event layout with a separate training area and screen area
Keep the training area and the audience area separate
  • A clearly marked 3×3 m zone for the active person only
  • Screen, waiting people and cables outside the movement area
  • Shade or indoors – no sun on the lenses, including when the headset is set down
  • Power the HDMI transmitter from the power bank
  • Keep a long USB-C cable and a charger within reach

Suitable modules

Wildfire and extinguisher work well for 3 to 5 minute runs. Firesaber is a short, playful entry. Planspiel, reconnaissance and technical modules are better for specialist audiences. At events, wildfire or extinguisher may be the direct start – without a long tutorial if staff handle the navigation.

Flashover is not for children

Flashover is a compact hazard scenario at an early development stage. It is not an event module for children or youth-brigade taster sessions.

Jump cushion only with a spotter

The fall moment is felt strongly in the body. No shoving, no startling, no small children. One person stands directly behind the active person and spots.

Children and young people

  • Minors only under supervision.
  • Children: about 10 minutes of VR at most; check fit from about 1.30 m height.
  • Young people: up to about 15 minutes.
  • If the headset does not sit securely or the nozzle cannot be held steadily: do not run the session.
  • Stop immediately if dizziness appears.

Participant changeover

Short press on power (standby), take the headset off, check the face shield, put it on the next person. The proximity sensor wakes the headset. Recharge below 30–35 %. Rotate face shields or allow a short drying time.
